Cherry Grove has been specifically designed to cater for the needs of Hawke's Bay children from 0 – 6 years of age. Our age and stage specific rooms, and large teaching staff, recognise the importance of providing appropriate group sizes to allow for more stimulating, responsive, and supportive interactions for infants and young children.

​The outside space is unique in Hawke's Bay – it's wonderous! It is specifically designed so that children have the opportunity to run, kick balls, build forts, play in sand, let their imagination run wild, or just simply sit and enjoy watching the exploration of others.

​Our Family Centre

Cherry Grove runs a FREE Family Centre to support families as they each find their way through the first years of parenthood and life.  Our Family Centre Facilitator will look after all your needs from setting up an inviting environment for your baby, to making coffee, and providing delicious food in a fun, relaxed space.

Our Nursery

Cherry Grove has various nursery rooms that cater for babies from 6 weeks of age until they are 2.5 years old.  This allows a large teaching team to provide individualised care that aligns with the rhythms of your baby.  Dedicated teachers work hard to foster relationships with families to build trust and understanding of interests and aspirations of every Cherry Grove child.
