Cherry Grove has been specifically designed to cater for the needs of Hawke's Bay children from 0 – 6 years of age.


Our age and stage specific rooms, and large teaching staff, recognise the importance of providing small group sizes to enable responsive, and supportive interactions.

 

  • Nursery - 6 months to 18 months
  • Toddler rooms Budlets & Buds 16 months-2-year-olds
  • Pre-kindergarten Cherry Blossom 2–3-year-olds
  • Cherry Bees Kindergarten 3–4-year-olds
  • Honey Bees Kindergarten (4+) our transition to school classroom
  • Family Centre morning and afternoon session


At Cherry Grove we know that finding the right child care near you is not easy. That's why we have many unique rooms at our Cherry Grove daycare centre - they are all different, made to specially suit infants and young children of different ages. It's wonderous! It is specifically designed so that children have the opportunity to run, kick balls, build forts, play in sand, let their imagination run wild, or just simply sit and enjoy watching the exploration of others.

Our Family Centre

Cherry Grove runs a FREE Family Centre to support families in a safe environment. Our Family Centre Teachers will look after all your needs from setting up an educational environment for your little ones, to making coffee, and providing delicious food in a fun, relaxed space.

Our Nursery

Cherry Grove has a nursery room that cater for babies from 6 months of age until around 18 months.  Transitioning into the nursery is a time to build relationships with families to enable the rhythms and routines of your baby to continue.
