Nursery
Our Cherry Grove Nursery caters for infants between 6 weeks and approximately 18 months of age.
Your baby is unique and very precious to us and we work closely in partnership with parents to ensure all needs of the baby are met. From this we are able to provide individualised, respectful care closely aligned with the rhythms and routines of your baby at home. We have an amazing Nursery teaching team that have been carefully chosen for their ability to support learning and development in infants and provide a sociable, loving, and physically responsive environment. The Nursery has areas for both mobile and non-mobile babies in order to ensure each group can play safely. This also allows babies to have their development and learning needs fully catered for by our teachers as appropriate to their gross motor skills.
Teachers acknowledge the importance of allowing children to express themselves and are skilled at creating a trusting environment that fosters the child’s developing sense of self.
Food and sleeping requirements vary hugely for this age group and we will work in partnership with parents to cater for each individual child’s routines. For further information on food and nutrition, please click here.

Buds
|
Buds range between 18 months and 30 months. Teachers recognise that new toddlers are on a journey to explore their world and encourage their natural curiosity by providing space and resources to explore in a safe, very well monitored environment.
We recognise and support each child’s social, emotional, and developmental needs through the provision of both planned and spontaneous play throughout the day. Rapid growth and development means toddlers needs vary significantly. As a result our teaching team works in close partnership with all parents and whānau to ensure the development and interests of every Bud are nurtured. |
